At 1117 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with strong wind gusts and heavy rain 7 miles north of Siler City, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Siler City, Carrboro, Sutphin, Cane Creek Reservoir, Saxapahaw, and Snow Camp.
