WHAT...Air Quality Health Advisory for Wildfire Smoke.
WHERE...Teller County and northern portions of El Paso County.
Locations include, but are not limited to, Cripple Creek, Victor, Woodland Park, Cascade, Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs, Gleneagle, Monument, and Peyton.
WHEN...1000 PM Thursday May 12 to 800 PM Friday May 13 IMPACTS...Smoke from a several wildfires will affect the advisory area through Thursday evening and into Friday morning.
HEALTH INFORMATION...Public Health Recommendations: Increasing likelihood of respiratory symptoms and breathing discomfort in active children and adults and people with lung disease, such as asthma. Active children and adults, and people with lung disease, such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.
