At 358 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles south of Blowing Rock to 10 miles northwest of Morganton. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Table Rock, Glen Alpine, Lake James, Edgemont, Globe, Collettsville, Patterson, Upton, and Oak Hill.
