At 312 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Walnut Hill to Colonial Heights. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Gray, Oak Grove, Walnut Hill, Spurgeon, Colonial Heights, and Bluff City.
