A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, City of Radford, Montgomery and Pulaski. * WHEN... Until 145 AM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 950 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Carper Branch, Connellys Run, Elliott Creek, Little Indian Creek, Back Creek, Little River, Flatwoods Branch, Dry Run, Gallion Branch, Craig Creek, Goose Creek, Indian Run and Crab Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
