A light wintry mix of snow and patchy freezing rain is possible this morning, with sheltered valley the most likely locations to receive the light freezing rain. The highest mountain peaks may see snow linger into the afternoon, with up to an inch of accumulation possible. Most other locations will see precipitation change to all rain by midday.
If you are driving this morning, use extra caution as you may encounter slick spots on untreated roads, especially on bridges and overpasses. If you encounter icy roads, slow down and increase the distance between your vehicle and those that surround you.
