At 343 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Audra State Park to near Rock Cave to 13 miles northeast of Sutton. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Buckhannon, Rock Cave, Burnsville, Sand Run, Alton, Walkersville, Ellamore, Kanawha Head, Ireland, Tallmansville, Overhill, French Creek, and Falls Mills.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 79 and 82, and between mile markers 84 and 87.
Route 33 between mile markers 15 and 17.
