A portion of south central Virginia, including the following counties, Charlotte and Halifax.

* WHEN...
Until 800 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 249 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and locally 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Double Branch, Gilliam Branch, Ellis Creek, Difficult Creek, Buckskin Creek, Ash Camp Creek, Armistead Branch, East Prong Difficult Creek, Bush Ford Branch, Austin Creek, Horsepen Creek, Catawba Creek and Black Walnut Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
