Greenbrier River At Alderson affecting Summers, Monroe and Greenbrier Counties.
.Rain which fell within the Greenbrier River basin was heaviest downstream of Alderson. As such, the river is not expected to crest as high as previously forecast.
For the Greenbrier River...including Alderson...Minor flooding is forecast.

At 13.5 feet, low spots dowmstream from Alderson along Route 12/3 are flooded.

- At 7:45 AM EST Sunday the stage was 13.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 14.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon.
