Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches, mainly in the higher elevations. Locally higher amounts in the high elevations along the Tennessee border. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...
A portion of western North Carolina.

* WHEN...
Until 6 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...
The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered roadways. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
