A cold front racing through the area will bring gusty west winds behind it late this morning into the afternoon. Wind gusts of 25 mph to 35 mph will be common, with locally higher gusts possible, especially in exposed and ridgetop locations. Secure outdoor objects, especially holiday decorations.
