At 808 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Thomasville, or near Lexington, moving east at 20 mph.
Wind gusts up to 35 mph will be possible with this storm.
Heavy rain and minor flooding and deadly cloud to ground lightning will also be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Asheboro, Lexington, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Siler City, Thomasville and Clemmons.
