At 552 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Berkeley Springs, or 8 miles south of Hancock, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Hedgesville, Johnsons Mill, Tomahawk, Johnsontown, Shanghai, Valley View, Spohrs Crossroads, Rock Gap, Stotlers Crossroads, Highland Ridge, Smith Crossroads, Jones Springs, New Hope, Shady Grove, and Omps.
