At 553 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles north of Huntersville, or near Lake Norman, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mooresville, Troutman, Lake Norman, Lake Norman State Park, Sherrills Ford, Mount Ulla, Terrell, and Doolie.
