At 936 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and strong thunderstorms along a line from 8 miles southwest of Cary to 8 miles northwest of Chesterfield. Movement was east-southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Fayetteville, Cary, Sanford, Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Smithfield, Rockingham, Raeford, and Pittsboro.
