For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills of 15 to 30 below. For the High Wind Warning, northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph.

* WHERE...
In Maryland, Eastern Garrett and Extreme Western Allegany Counties. In Virginia, Central Virginia Blue Ridge and Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, and Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Grant, Western Mineral, and Western Pendleton Counties.

* WHEN...
For the Extreme Cold Warning, until 10 AM EST Sunday. For the High Wind Warning, until 10 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...
Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Wind chills are expected to remain below zero through late Sunday morning. Being outdoors for a prolonged period of time will be life-threatening.
