At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Dailey, or 15 miles south of Elkins, moving southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Randolph and northeastern Pocahontas Counties.
