Moderate flooding is forecast.

Tygart Valley River at Philippi.

* WHEN...
From late tonight to early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...
At 19.0 feet, The intersection of US Route 119 and Truck Route 250 is flooded. Also, Sycamore Street and Beech Avenue are flooded.
At 21.0 feet, Chestnut and McCartney Streets flood. Vietnam Veterans Park is flooded just upstream from the covered bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM EST Friday the stage was 4.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 21.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.8 feet on 02/23/2003.
