Northeastern Bedford County in south central Virginia... * Until 1015 PM EDT. * At 714 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated two lines of heavy rain producing thunderstorms were going to intersect over Lynchburg, VA and neighboring areas. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lynchburg, Forest, Rustburg, Big Island, Concord, Boonsboro and Madison Heights. This includes the following streams and drainages... Buffalo Creek, Buck Branch, Burton Creek, Abbott Branch, Bear Creek, Blackwater Creek, Big Otter River, Bear Branch and Blackfoot Creek.  |
