Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Hoke, Moore, Richmond and Scotland.

* WHEN...
Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 854 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Hoffman, Antioch, Pinebluff, Ellerbe, Foxfire, Dobbins Heights, Wagram, Camp Mackall, Ashley Heights, Bowmore, Sandhills Game Land, Silver City, Rockfish and East Rockingham.
