A portion of south central Virginia, including the following counties, Halifax and Pittsylvania.

Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Bird Creek, Banister River, Birch Creek, Bye Creek and Carlton Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
