Flood Warning issued September 17 at 3:57AM EDT until September 17 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC
The Flood Warning will expire at 4 AM EDT early this morning for a portion of central North Carolina, including the following areas, Anson, Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Orange, Richmond, Sampson, Scotland, Wake, Wayne and Wilson.
Some lingering showers and a few thunderstorms will spread across the area early this morning, the widespread heavy rain has ended.
Many creeks and streams are beginning to fall and the flood threat has ended.
