At 146 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Lenoir, or near Cedar Rock, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lenoir, Taylorsville, Bethlehem, Cedar Rock, Lookout Shoals Lake, Lake Hickory, St. Stephens, Hiddenite, Little River In Alexander County, and Collettsville.
