Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

All of the Pikes Peak region.

* WHEN...
From 8 AM this morning to 5 AM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...
Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the latter part of the morning commute and could highly impact the evening commute.

* Additional information...
This storm will come across the region in two pieces. The first will affect the region from this morning into early afternoon. Then, a second more potent piece of energy will come across late this afternoon into the evening hours and will bring strong winds and periods of heavy snow to the Pikes Peak region. Travel may become very difficult across the Pikes Peak region late this afternoon and evening due to the combination of strong winds and heavy snow.
