Snow Squall Warning issued February 17 at 2:34AM EST until February 17 at 3:00AM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC
At 233 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located over Harpers Ferry, or 8 miles east of Charles Town, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts greater than 50 mph could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

IMPACT...Dangerous and life-threatening travel conditions are expected to develop rapidly in the warning area.
This includes Interstate 81 between Inwood West Virginia and Cedar Hill Virginia.
