In the North Carolina mountains, south winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected in the valleys. Winds will gust as high as 60 mph on the high peaks and ridgetops. For the mountains of the Upstate and northeast Georgia, south winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...
The mountains and Blue Ridge areas northeast Georgia, North Carolina, and Upstate South Carolina.

* WHEN...
From 6 PM this evening to 2 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
