At 819 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms from Sanford and Moncure northeast to Apex and Cary, moving north at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Cary, Sanford, Fuquay-Varina, RDU International, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, and Broadway.
