* WHAT...
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of south central Virginia, including the following county, Halifax.

* WHEN...
Until 815 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1111 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Bales Spring Branch, Aarons Creek, Barker Creek, Birch Creek, Big Toby Creek, Banister River, Ballous Creek and Big Bluewing Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2.5 to 5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
