Flood Advisory issued June 12 at 5:02PM EDT until June 12 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 502 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain producing thunderstorms that prompted the adviory have moved south of the advisory region. However, runoff from these earlier heavy rains may still prompt minor flooding as the water collects in creeks, streams, and other low lying locations.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cana and Lambsburg.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Ring Creek, Stewarts Creek, Brushy Fork, Little Fisher River, Naked Run, Garners Creek, Little Pauls Creek, Pauls Creek and Moores Fork.
