Rainfall amounts between 0.75-1.50 inches falling on a melting snowpack could contribute to significant rises on area rivers. These rises will certainly disturb areal river ice and could create ice jam flooding. At this time multiple forecast points are forecast to hit action stage but none are currently forecast to hit minor flood stage.

Flooding caused by rain and/or snowmelt and/or ice jam is possible.

Portions of Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Fayette, Higher Elevations of Fayette, Higher Elevations of Westmoreland and Westmoreland and northern West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Monongalia, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston and Western Tucker.

From late Thursday night through Saturday afternoon.

Rapid rises on rivers from rain and snow melt exacerbated by ice jams may result in localized flood issues.
