For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 8 below zero expected.

* WHERE...
Augusta and Rockingham Counties.

* WHEN...
For the Extreme Cold Warning, until 11 AM EST Tuesday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 7 PM Tuesday to 11 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...
The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
