THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 51 IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NORTH CAROLINA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 11 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ANSON CUMBERLAND HARNETT HOKE LEE MONTGOMERY MOORE RICHMOND SAMPSON SCOTLAND STANLY THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ABERDEEN, ALBEMARLE, ANGIER, BUIES CREEK, CAMP MACKALL, CARTHAGE, CLINTON, DUNN, ELLERBE, ERWIN, FAYETTEVILLE, HOPE MILLS, LAURINBURG, LILLINGTON, PINEHURST, POLKTON, RAEFORD, ROCKINGHAM, ROSEBORO, SANFORD, SOUTHERN PINES, SPRING LAKE, TROY, WADESBORO, AND WAGRAM.
