Caswell County in north central North Carolina...

* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 212 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across western and central Caswell county, with a new area of thunderstorms and heavy rainfall moving into the southern and southeastern part of the county. Areas around Quick, Pelham, and Yanceyville have received between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Doppler radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Yanceyville, Bethel, Providence, Jericho, Prospect Hill, Camp Springs and Milton.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Cane Creek, Burkes Creek, Benton Branch and Country Line Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
