Light to moderate snow will continue to move off of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and into portions of Custer and Fremont counties this evening. Snowfall amounts will vary, though localized amounts of several inches cannot be ruled out in spots. Those traveling across Highway 50 in Fremont county and on Highway 69 from Texas Creek south to Westcliffe should use caution and be prepared for snow covered roads with slippery conditions along with reduced visibility. The snow should diminish by mid to late evening.
