* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 1256 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms increasing in areal coverage and intensity across much of Rockingham county.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have already fallen in some parts of the county, especially around Reidsville. Flash flooding is already occurring according to public reports with some roads under water.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

Eden, Reidsville, Wentworth, Mayodan, Madison, Stoneville and Mayfield.
