At 1128 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near South Webster to Washington. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Portsmouth, Ironton, Lake Vesuvius, Carter Caves State Park, Greenup, South Shore, Gesling, Greenbo Lake, Load, Letitia, Franklin Furnace, Carter, Flatwoods, Russell, Vernon, Raceland, Worthington, Wurtland, Aid, and Hanging Rock.
This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky near mile marker 152.
