THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 272 UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING WHICH REPLACES A PORTION OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 269. THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WEST VIRGINIA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST WEST VIRGINIA PRESTON IN NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA MARION MONONGALIA WETZEL IN THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE OF WEST VIRGINIA MARSHALL THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF FAIRMONT, KINGWOOD, MORGANTOWN, MOUNDSVILLE, NEW MARTINSVILLE, AND TERRA ALTA.
