At 309 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Chilhowie to 11 miles northeast of Elizabethton to 6 miles northeast of Tusculum. Movement was southeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Mountain City, Hunter, Banner Hill, Roane Mountain State Park, Neva, Laurel Bloomery, Unicoi, Hampton Creek Cove State Park, Elizabethton, and Central.
