At 125 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles east of Spruce Pine, or 4 miles west of Table Rock, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Table Rock, Lake James, Lake James State Park, and Ashford.
