THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 272 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WEST VIRGINIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 11 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA TAYLOR IN NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA BARBOUR DODDRIDGE HARRISON LEWIS PLEASANTS RANDOLPH RITCHIE TYLER UPSHUR WOOD THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BELINGTON, BELMONT, BRIDGEPORT, BUCKHANNON, CLARKSBURG, ELKINS, GRAFTON, HARRISVILLE, MIDDLEBOURNE, PADEN CITY, PARKERSBURG, PENNSBORO, PHILIPPI, SISTERSVILLE, ST. MARYS, VIENNA, WEST UNION, AND WESTON.
