Fog will become increasingly widespread across the mountains of the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia through much of the morning hours. Some locations may see patchy dense fog at times, with the visibility falling to one-quarter mile or less.
Use caution if driving. Allow extra time to reach your destination and allow greater stopping distance between vehicles. Use your low beam headlights and fog lamps if you encounter dense fog.
