* At 300 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Farmville, Blackstone, Crewe, Mannboro, Longwood University, Hampden Sydney College, Hampden Sydney, Nottoway, Burkeville, Jetersville, Rice, Spainville, Fort Pickett, Wilsons, Prospect, Jennings Ordinary, Fergusonville, Maplewood, Deatonville and Denaro.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
