Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 110 expected.

All of central North Carolina.

* WHEN...
Tuesday 10 AM through Wednesday 8 PM.

* IMPACTS...
Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
The hottest temperatures of the season thus far are expected with highs in the mid 90s to low 100s. The persistent heat with numerous record highs and warm lows, light winds, sunny days, and lack of overnight cooling will significantly increase the danger.
