Relative humidity values between 20 and 25 percent will combine with wind gusts of 15 to 20 mph and drying fuels to result in an increased danger of fires burning out of control across the North Carolina Piedmont.
People are urged to avoid outdoor burning on Wednesday. If you must burn, use extreme caution since fires can grow quickly and become dangerous in these conditions. Ensure that fire suppression equipment is readily available. Properly extinguish and dispose of any smoking materials.
