South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

In Virginia, Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.

* WHEN...
Until 2 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
In addition to these strong southerly winds, thunderstorms will increase in coverage through the morning and afternoon, some of which may require Severe Thunderstorm Warnings.
An abrupt wind shift to westerly winds occurs late this afternoon in response to a strong cold front.
