Patches of dense fog will occasionally reduce visibility to one- quarter mile or less in a few locations through 10 am this morning. Piedmont areas of the western Carolinas will be most impacted, especially along and near the Interstate 77 corridor from Statesville through Chester, and along Interstate 85 from Gaffney to Salisbury.
Use caution if driving. Be prepared for rapid changes in visibility and use low beam headlights and fog lamps if you encounter dense fog.
