The Flood Warning continues for the Elk River At Clay.

* Until Tuesday morning.

* At 10:00 AM EST Monday the stage was 19.5 feet.

* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...
The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.

* Impact...
At 20.0 feet, Homes in the Pisgah section of Clay, and a few homes on the north side of Clay are flooded between 20 and 22 feet. Sections of Elkhurst/Elk River Road are flooded.

* Flood History...
This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.1 feet on 02/01/1951.
