At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Poca to Hamlin. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Nitro, Winfield, Hamlin, Jefferson, South Charleston, St. Albans, Dunbar, Hurricane, Poca, Cross Lanes, Culloden, Alum Creek, Institute, Tornado, Teays Valley, West Hamlin, Bancroft, Sweetland, Salt Rock, and Griffithsville.
This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 30 and 52.
