At 1001 PM EST, Runoff from heavy rainfall is causing flash flooding across the warned area. Walker Road, Midland Trail, and Anjean Road are all closed due to flooding. Additional rainfall tonight will worsen flooding.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Doppler radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Rainelle, Rupert, Quinwood, Renick, Falling Spring, Rorer and Beartown State Park.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Anthony Creek, Big Run, Big Clear Creek, Beech Run, Back Creek and Beaver Creek.
