At 753 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of thunderstorms with torrential rainfall stretching from Pineville to Midland, along the Mecklenburg and Union Counties border, moving east at 25 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Monroe, South Charlotte, Southwest Charlotte, East Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Weddington, Stallings, and Unionville.
Very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
